The Push-Lock Tensioner With Threaded Clevis by Ultra-Tec is an exposed, swageless, tensioning fitting that is designed to be face-mounted to metal posts in both level and pitched applications. With the versatile Push-Lock tensioning style that is featured with this fitting, you can use any other type of fitting on the opposite end of your cable run.
This fitting consists of two separate parts: The Articulating Threading Bolt and The Push-Lock Tensioning Body. First, the threaded bolt is installed into a pre-drilled and tapped hole in your metal end post. The cable attaches to the body of the fitting via the Push-Lock locking wedge system which requires no special tools for installation. The machine thread of the articulating bolt threads onto the other end of the fitting, connecting the two parts. Tension is created by securing the post-side segment of the body onto the machine threads while preventing the cable-side segment of the body from turning.
