The Invisiware Receiver is designed specifically for use with Ultra-Tec Invisiware Swaging Studs. Invisiware Receivers are unique because when they are properly used with the matching stud, the result is a tensioning mechanism that conceals itself inside of the end post itself with only the head area of the receiver showing. The dome-shaped head area of these receivers are specially designed for this application, being that they are larger than the body of the receiver and will act as a shoulder to support the tensioned cable as it is being tightened. The outside of the head is broached with a hex broach, meaning that it can be tensioned and adjusted using the proper sized Allen wrench.

For end posts that are pipes, they should be counterbored to receive the head and to minimize the exposure on the outside of the post. For flat-sided end posts, the head will rest flush against the surface of the post, resulting in a clean, professional look. Invisiware Receivers can be used on stairway pitches up to approximately 35 degrees without having to drill the end posts on an angle. Additionally, each Invisiware Receiver includes a plastic Delrin washer that is intended to act as a scratch resistant barrier between the head of the receiver and the surface of the post.
