The Push-Lock Threaded Bolt by Ultra-Tec is an exposed, swageless, non-tensioning fitting that is designed to be surface-mounted to metal posts on level runs. Because of the mechanism of this fitting, you must use a tensioning fitting on the opposite end of your cable run. This fitting is typically chosen by individuals who are seeking a simple to use, swageless fitting that will provide a symmetrical look when used with a face mounted tensioner. It is also ideal for applications where there is no access available to the back side of your end post.
The fitting is installed into a pre-drilled and tapped hole, with the included Delrin Washer installed between the shoulder of the fitting and the surface of the end post. The cable then attaches via the Push-Lock locking wedge system which requires no special tools, making for a quick and easy installation.
