Ultra-Tec Push-Lock Turnbuckle With Hanger Bolt

The Ultra-Tec Push-Lock Turnbuckle With Hanger Bolt is an exposed, swageless, tensioning fitting that is designed to be surface-mounted in level runs only. It can be used with any fitting on the opposite end of the cable run, however it can only be used with wooden posts. It consists of four separate parts: Hanger Bolt, Body, Lock Nut and Push-Lock Stud. During installation, the lag thread of the hanger bolt is driven into a pre-drilled hole in the face of your wooden end post. The lock nut is then installed all the way onto the machine thread of the hanger bolt first, followed by the fitting body. The Push-Lock Stud then threads into the body and the cable attaches to the stud fitting via the Push-Lock wedging system which requires no special tools. Tension is created in the cable run by using the fitting's body as a turnbuckle. Once your desired tension is achieved, the lock nut is to be secured against the body in order to prevent the fitting from loosening.
