Ultra-Tec Push-Lock Fitting For 3/16" Cable - PL-6-2.030
The Push-Lock Fitting is a concealed, swageless, non-tensioning, through-post mounted fitting that is suitable for use on level runs only. They can be used with any other tensioning device on the other end of the cable run, however when used with our wide variety of swageless tensioner fittings, both ends can be put on the cable and installed without any swaging or use of special tools.
The PL-6-2.030 Push-Lock Fitting is designed to rest in a pre-drilled hole in the end post. When using with an end post that is 1 1/2" or greater in thickness, this fitting is completely concealed inside the end post, with only the flattened exterior head showing outside of the post. Pipe ends are counterbored, so the full perimeter of the head will rest on a flat surface in the pipe. A plastic Delrin Washer is included with the fitting and acts as a scratch resistant barrier between the fitting and metal end post. The head rests on the outside wall of flat-sided metal posts or on a Stainless Steel Washer on wooden posts.
*Push-Lock Fittings Cannot Be Used With Angle Shapes Or Flat Bars In Pitched Applications Unless The Post Hole Is Drilled At The Angle Of The Stair Rake And A Beveled Washer Is Used. For Push-Lock Fittings That Can Be Used On Pitched Applications, The Push-Lock With Threaded Eye (PL-TE4) Is Recommended.
