Swaged Tensioning Fittings
Swaged Tensioning Fittings require specialized swaging equipment to ensure proper installation, applying the necessary force relative to the fitting's size. At least one such fitting must be included per cable run for the system to function correctly. This guide will explore different fitting types, pairing options, compatibility, and installation processes.
Swaged Tensioning - Hidden Fittings for Metal and Wood
The Invisiware Receiver pairs with the Invisiware Stud, complemented by a Delrin Washer for metal posts or a 7/16" SAE Stainless Steel Washer and a Stainless Steel Post Protector Tube for wood posts. Designed for "through-the-post" installations, these fittings support level and pitched cable runs using 1x19 stainless steel cables in sizes ranging from 1/8" to 3/8". During installation, the receiver is inserted into a pre-drilled post hole, the washer protects the post, and the swaged stud threads securely into the receiver. A protector tube is added to the cable for wood posts before swaging the stud, ensuring the tube is correctly positioned at the post's entry and exit points. This versatile system pairs seamlessly with various fittings at the opposite end of the cable run.

Adjust-A-Jaw with Threaded Tab & Fittings
The Adjust-A-Jaw with Threaded Tab is an exposed tensioning fitting designed for "face-of-post" mounting. It is suitable for level and angled runs and accommodates 1x19 stainless steel cables from 1/8" to 3/8". Depending on the post material, this fitting can pair with various options on the opposite end of the cable.
For metal posts, installation requires the Adjust-A-Jaw with Threaded Tab, a Ferrule, an Invisiware Threaded Tab, and a mounting screw. The Ferrule is swaged onto the cable and secured within the Adjust-A-Jaw after removing its nut. The Invisiware Threaded Tab is installed in the post and fastened to the Adjust-A-Jaw with the mounting screw.
For wood posts, the setup involves the Adjust-A-Jaw with Threaded Tab, a Ferrule, a Lag Eye (or Extended Length Lag Eye), and a mounting screw. The Ferrule is similarly swaged to the cable and placed inside the Adjust-A-Jaw. The Lag Eye is mounted to the post and attached to the Adjust-A-Jaw using the mounting screw.
Adjust-A-Body
The Adjust-A-Body has several variations, including Hanger Bolt, Threaded Bolt, Clevis, and Anchor Bolt styles. Each option differs slightly in installation, compatible cable sizes, and suitable post materials. All styles require a Ferrule for secure cable attachment and can be paired with various fittings on the opposite end of the run.
Adjust-A-Body with Hanger Bolt
Compatible with 1/8", 3/16", and 1/4" diameter 1x19 stainless steel cable, this fitting is ideal for level runs and wood posts. The extended model is also suitable for wood posts with composite sleeves. Installation involves swaging the Ferrule, drilling the bolt into the post, and reconnecting the body to adjust tension.
