Swaged Non-Tensioning Fittings
Swaged Non-Tensioning cable railing fittings require specialized swaging equipment designed to apply the appropriate force according to the fitting's mass. A specific symbol identifies these fittings and does not provide tension. To ensure proper installation, only one (1) non-tensioning fitting can be used per cable run.

Invisiware Radius Ferrule
The Invisiware Radius Ferrule is compatible with 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", and 3/8" diameter 1x19 stainless steel cable, pitched or level runs, as well as metal or wood posts. It must be used with a tensioning fitting on the opposite end of the run (commonly an Invisiware Receiver) and is commonly paired with the Post Protector for wood posts.
Installation requires a pre-drilled hole through the post; we recommend using a drill bit that is the same/slightly larger than the cable, then drilling a larger hole on one end to accommodate the fitting. The Ferrule should already be swaged to the cable; in this case, you can thread the cable through the Delrin washer for metal posts or a stainless steel washer for wood posts and the hole and connect it to the receiver on the other end of the run.
Shop NowInvisiware Stud
The Invisiware Stud can be used alone for metal post installations. It will act as a non-tensioning end on a pitched on-the-level run and require a tensioning receiver at the other end. It is compatible with 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", and 3/8" diameter 1x19 stainless steel cable. The recommended installation is to thread the unswaged cable through the pre-drilled hole and up through the post, swaging the stud. Then, thread the cable back through until the stud is placed within the post. Then, attach the cable to a tensioning receiver at the opposite end.

Fixed Jaw and Threaded Tab or Lag Eye
The Fixed Jaw is designed for a level or pitched runs between metal or wood posts, is compatible with 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", and 3/8" diameter 1x19 stainless steel cable, and must be used with an Adjust-A-Jaw Tensioning Fitting on the opposite end of the run. This fitting also requires the purchase of a ferrule and a Lag Eye (for wood) or Threaded Tab (for metal), as well as a mounting screw.
Installation requires that the cable be swaged to the ferrule and inserted into the Fixed Jaw. Then mount the threaded tab or lag eye screw to the post and connect the mounted fitting to the Fixed Jaw using a mounting screw. Note: An Adjust-A-Jaw must be connected to the cable at the other end of the run.
Clip-On Fixed Jaw and Threaded Tab or Lag Eye
The Clip-On Fixed Jaw is available for 1/8" and 3/16" diameter 1x19 stainless steel cable and works similarly to the Fixed Jaw. It is compatible with metal and wood posts and requires the purchase of a ferrule and a Lag Eye (for wood) or Threaded Tab (for metal), as well as a mounting screw.
These are designed for applications that require factory-swaged fittings at both ends and to minimize the hole diameter through intermediate posts. Installation is also similar, such that the swaged ferrule cable end is threaded through the posts and will clip into the Clip-On Fixed Jaw. The Jaw is then connected to a Threaded Tab or Lag Eye Screw Mounted to the post using a mounting screw.
